Frame Gallery’s 9th Annual Holiday Shop Opens Nov. 13

Free opening reception features a Sneak Peek of the 2026 Tennessee Craft-South Studio and Gallery Tour

Frame Gallery Gifts and Art will open its 9th Annual Holiday Shop on Friday, Nov. 13, with a free reception from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at 12569 Sollace M. Freeman Highway in downtown Sewanee. The Holiday Shop, open to the public, runs through Dec. 31, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Shoppers can discover handmade arts and crafts from local artists and from makers around the world, including felted and clay ornaments, toys and games for all ages, art kits, and holiday décor. From affordable gifts and stocking stuffers to one-of-a-kind treasures, shoppers will find plenty to choose from for family and friends.

Opening-night guests can also enjoy a Sneak Peek Exhibition featuring work by artists participating in the 2026 Tennessee Craft-South Studio and Gallery Tour on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sneak Peek artists include Terrie Ponder-Watch, Julie Barrett, Claire Reishman, Kate Gunderson, Linda Kerlin, and Kim Butters. Tennessee Craft-South is the regional chapter of Tennessee Craft, a statewide organization dedicated to supporting and promoting handmade arts and crafts throughout Tennessee.

“The Studio and Gallery Tour is one of the best weekends of the year on the Mountain, and the Sneak Peek lets people see the artists’ work before they set out in December,” said Frame Gallery owner Harriet Runkle, who is also exhibiting her clay work on the tour. “It’s a great way to start your holiday shopping close to home.”

The reception follows Tennessee Craft-South’s final chapter meeting of the year, which will celebrate the chapter’s 31st anniversary and recognize the Studio and Gallery Tour sponsors.
