Pitch in for a cleaner coast. The Mary Esther Library crew and the Okaloosa County Public Library Cooperative host the Interlibrary Beach Clean-Up from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island, under the Crab Trap, at 1450 Miracle Strip Parkway SE in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
The cleanup is open to all ages. Gloves, buckets, and grabbers will be provided while supplies last; bring sunscreen and water.
Community partners include Keep Okaloosa Beautiful, Destin-Fort Walton Beach Natural Resources, Ocean Hour, and other Okaloosa County libraries.
