The Emerald Coast Science Center hosts its Women in Science Conference Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Beachside Church, 200 Racetrack Road NW, in Fort Walton Beach.

The evening features presentations from local women in STEM careers — including professionals from UWF, Beast Code, Reliance Test & Technology, Florida Power and Light, BAE Systems, and Beyond Expectations — followed by a panel Q&A and networking.

The event, held in partnership with Modern Technology Solutions Inc., is geared toward middle and high school students exploring STEM careers but is open to all ages.

Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is free for students; admission for adults 18 and older is $10.

Proceeds benefit the Girls Empowered with Math and Science (GEMS) program.
