The Southern Public Relations Federation (SPRF) holds its 2026 annual conference in Tuscaloosa, Ala., Sept. 20-22, at Hotel Capstone on the University of Alabama campus.

PR professionals from across SPRF's four-state region and beyond will gather for keynote speakers, breakout sessions on practical communications strategy, and networking events, including a Welcome Reception, a Council of Leaders Reception, and Student Mentor Opportunities.

The conference closes with SPRF's annual awards program, honoring newly accredited APRs, Southern Public Relations Hall of Fame inductees, Senior and Young Practitioners, and the Professional Achievement Award recipient — the organization's highest individual honor — alongside the Lantern Awards for individual and team work.

Registration is open to both SPRF members and non-members. Full-conference rates are $550 for members and $700 for non-members through 11:59 p.m. Aug. 15, rising to $650 and $800 after; one-day, luncheon-only, and student rates are also available. A discounted hotel block at Hotel Capstone runs through Aug. 20.
