Frame Gallery Gifts & Art
The opening reception for the Sewanee Purple Through the Year exhibition on March 27, 2026, was easily in the top 5 of all art reception turnouts in Frame Gallery's history! The show, which runs through April 25, celebrates not only the discovery of a new wildflower, Phacelia sewaneensis, on the University of the South's Domain but also the remarkable skill of the artists in the Nature Journaling Group sponsored by the Sewanee Herbarium. Sewanee Children’s Center (SCC)
Sewanee Children’s Center has launched a Giving Tree fundraising campaign to equip its new outdoor classroom, where student curiosity is sparked through nature, observation, and creative play. Donors can select a ‘heart’ representing a category of tools and materials that help children learn outdoors, connect with their environment, and build confidence through exploration. Supporters’ contributions are allocated to their chosen category to support the SCC’s outdoor education program.

Featured Artist of the 38th Annual ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival
The Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) of Walton County selected Renee Broxson as the Featured Artist for the 38th Annual ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival taking place on Saturday, May 2 and May 3, 2026, at Grand Boulevard Town Center's North Park. Her original artwork, Crowned in Courage, will be showcased on all ArtsQuest marketing materials. A second work, Big Ears, Clear Vision, will also be the cover image for the CAA’s spring #ArtMatters publication, available at all official Art Month events.
